Cabin Air Filter Replacement

Have any of you replaced the cabin air filter? I won't need to replace mine for some time but am curious as to the location and procedure.

My '19 MINI Cooper was a pain (literally) and acrobatic skills were almost required.

Based upon the shape and size of the filter and the fact that it is also used by X3, X4, and 3 series, I assume it is similar to the following YouTube video for the G20: G20 cabin air filter replacement

Is this something that is performed during the first 3 years of free maintenance?

Yes, I believe so. I like to think I'm being proactive but acknowledge some may consider it obsessive.

Mine was replaced, not under 3/36k, rather it was paid. Tried to do it myself prior, but couldn't ever see the parts I was expecting to see, and after about 15 minutes of struggle, floorboard yoga, attempts at video, etc, I felt my back start screaming at me.

So, now I have a spare OEM filter, and I have no desire to try it again, without watching it being done first. Sitting on 61k miles, now, and it about time to change it again.
