Clean deep inside front side vents

My vents are looking dirty deep inside. The piano black vents show scratches so easily. Question is...what do you use to to keep them clean?

For the scratches , I used a headlamp clear plastic polish on the windshield pillars( they are also easy to get swirls ) and they are mirror finished.

On my past BMWs, I applied paint sealant to the shadowline trim pieces. It is a little harder than wax and provides some protection against surface scratches, plus it lasts for a few months.

A light polishing compound will remove scratches from shadowline pretty easily as noted.

You might try applying sealant or wax first to fill in the scratches. If they are still visible, then go the polishing route.
