At this price point you may want to consider a full clip Xpel PPF install. It’s’ nice to have the extra protection from rocks and bugs. I’ve had PPF on my last two cars and I’ve been really pleased with how well it held up.

I have seen on older cars how the PPF breaks down and looks like cracked glass with dirt in it. That may be due to the 10+ years it was on there, but is it easy to remove/replace and what is the lifespan? I understand ceramic is about 1-2 years.

I know it’s expensive, but you can actually do both PPF and ceramic, although I’ll tell you, with little fuss the PPF was still beading water at 5 years without it. |

I basically just rinse my car and dry, so I think it was worth it. But I agree, everyone is going to say the brand they're using is the best. I don't have any experience with others so I can't compare.

Cosmetically, do you feel that the car also looks better than it did previously? How does it hold up in rain?

Thanks. In addition to Horseman's comments; does it need to be reapplied every year or two?

With ceramic coating the water just beads off. I can dry it with a leaf blower. |

This was an interesting youtube video comparing a number of ceramic coatings after 2.5 yrs. It looks like all coatings are not created equal…

Good to know the ceramic pro 9H holds up after 2.5 years. Guess I’ll need to ask the question as to what $2200 really gets me. :P damn good application of the product and a lifetime warranty… but… what does that warranty entail? Gotta find out.
