My "this looks about right" looks real close to the factory Spanish cars badges.
Main thing I did was use a level to get it square with the trim.

Looking at photos of Canadian side emblems, would you say that the emblems are level with the GROUND? Or are they level/centered with the two side strakes that frame the emblems? Anyone with factory emblems that can just put a level on the emblem? Thanks!

Front side of badge is slightly lower. It follows top and lower vent lines

Excellent! That helps a lot! Could you possibly put a ruler on it to show how close it is from the edge and also from the top strake? That would complete the full instructions for anyone interested in duplicating the factory location!
Thanks!

Done! 1) Measured the distance between the upper and lower creases of the protruding area where the emblem goes by putting a ruler to the R edge (on an angle) and it was 15.5 cm), so marked off 7.75 cm as the intended centerpoint for the emblem. 2) measured 8 cm from L edge trying best to keep ruler at same angle as the the creases. 3) applied emblem.

For me, I'm waiting to see mine in person before adding anything "extra". The one thing I liked was your floor mats you posted. Those looked classy. |

I looked on Amazon but the reviews were less than desireable with the same complaints of not lasting. BMW website only had the badges for back of car which are larger than the ones that would go on the sides.
