I know it's not what you want to hear, but I second this advice. Unfortunately, when it comes to mods, those can typically lower what someone is willing to offer. Especially ones that could put the warranty at risk of being voided.

Most potential buyers aren't looking to mod the hell of this version of the platform. Those who do, go with the Toyota version.

My 2 cents:

It is common that when you want to sell modded car in normal channels, typically all the mods doesn't worth much at all.

At least in Asia, what we commonly do is we put car completely back to stock setting(except films), sell the car on normal channels like dealership. We sell all the modded parts separately and individually as second hand online.

It's more work but you will for sure get more out of it than just sell as it is.

I know, and normally I would - but I didn't have the room to keep the OEM exhaust (it was ONE piece, 7ft long) or the OEM tires. Honestly the car performs much better on wider tires and turns on a dime with the Eibach kit. I could remove the piggyback tune no problem, and everything else would be good to go. The downpipe I bought for the car is GESI certified and does not produce a CEL. And lord does the exhaust sound so much better than stock. Akrapovic nailed it, worth the money. I know I won't get back what I put into it, but I can do better than the dealership offer. Especially in this climate, it's hard to get a car at ALL, nonetheless a Z4 m40i in a certain spec - there's not exactly hundreds of them sitting on lots.
