Side from the Frozen San Remo Green in the pictures I wonder what the other green shade will be?
The paint is not frozen but a regular metallic.

The other greens in the current BMW palette are: Cape York, Isle of Man, British Racing IV (the latter possibly MINI only).

Yeah saw that - but they need better springs too. Body roll for me wasn’t on turn in but mid corner. Will be interesting to see how they set this up. Stiffer anti-roll bars are cool but bounce back or rebound was an issue for me with the stock spring setup.

Maybe controllable with revised damper tuning?

They apparently think the manual will be aimed to more aggressive or track drivers…..I would tend to agree, on a road course the manual gives up less compared to an auto on the street (drag launches) and would be the preferred option for tracking the car on a road course.

I’m really excited for people that want the manual, hopefully those critical media types (Savagegeese, looking at you) that slam BMW for not doing enough with the Z4 will appreciate what’s being done here….giving the USA another manual option. And not to forget it’s in a luxury roadster market space that at 70k has NO competition (Audi TT is gone, no F-Type anymore, Porsche is $$$)

And the excitement over more colors doesn’t really get me. The San Remo green or satin SR green is not exactly an exciting option. Cool color but they couldn’t even spring for British racing green. SMH.
A satin BRG would be really cool. But this would be close enough.

Looks pretty much satin in the pictures, though...

Not sure how close they are - went out to the bmw m individual and took a look at the g8x pics of BRG. BRG is a well-known choice. This SRG feels like another M-lite color, and satin is another upcharge along with the base price hike. This car will be over $80k as spec’d.

When I go to the BMW page for the Z4, it doesn’t even have a product page. It just takes me straight to the configurator. Maybe they’re updating it?

Instead they highlight as front page news an AR/IW g80 that no one likes, let’s be honest that color combo is horrid

It sounded like the greens would be exclusive to the manual, but you can also get manual in any of the current colors.

Have to say I quite like the green and prefer metallic to frozen. But a manual would never be made available in Thailand.

Perhaps it’s SRG in frozen or metallic paint?

This is music to my ears. I would bet the greens are frozen SRG and metallic SRG based on these spy pics. Not sure I’d want that over Thundernight but it’s certainly not a bad color. Interesting that it costs more but that makes sense for the added development cost. Now I just got to convince my wife about this in the next two years! Lol.

I read that the manual is designed specifically for the USA market. So it might possible be made available in continental Europe, but UK, SE Asia, HK will be out of the question. No right hand drive models.

Sadly I think you are correct as the articles said the 6MT was for the USA market.
