My car's status changed to "In Transit" today. Called the Genius and was told it is on the Niagara Highway. That vessel is owned by K Line and their schedule shows the ship arriving in Charleston on Mar 1. After two weeks sitting in port, my Z4 is on a ship!

Next step is to schedule the PCD. I would imagine it will take a couple of weeks to get the car transported to Spartanburg and through the VPC for a mid-March delivery. Updates to follow...

Good for you! The first date available for PCD for me is 3/25. I'm in the scheduling phase right now.

I'm trying to get confirmation that there will be a Z4 available for the road portion. I know they are supposed to provide similar cars to what we're having delivered - just don't want to be disappointed if they try to put me in a 3-series.

Got an email confirmation that Z4s are in the PCD fleet of vehicles! So happy I'll be doing the road portion of the delivery day in my own type of vehicle. Pumped!

Caught a shot of the Niagara Highway pulling into the Southampton U.K. port. She's in a birth across from the Queen Victoria (not Queen Mary 2) cruise ship. Leaves tomorrow for the week long journey across the Atlantic to Hallifax arriving on 2/20. This is fun!

Not sure if monitoring this so closely is a good idea. I've been waiting for the N.H. to leave Southampton all day (schedule says 2/13) and she has been moved from her earlier port location to a siding along a pier. It's now 2/14 in the U.K. so she's late! Time to walk away and ignore things I can't control. I'm definitely not going to monitor ocean weather as the ship makes the trans-Atlantic crossing. I'm NOT I tells ya'!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Spotted the Niagara Highway leaving Southampton on video footage of the port cam. She got on her way at approx 4:40 U.K. time on 2/14 - a day late. Looks like weather could be an issue crossing the Atlantic as the ETA in Hallifax has slipped four days.

This clip would be more scary if I had done an ED and was waiting for a car I had legal title to. If the Z4 doesn't survive the trip I'll just order a replacement.

Looks like a bad storm (Cat 2 / 3) in the North Atlantic. The N.H.'s route is south to below it heading for a high pressure system.

You'll probably be unloaded in Brunswick originally scheduled for Feb 27th. N.H. is already behind four days based on next port of call in Halifax.

What color car are you getting? Mine is S.F. Red. I hadn't seen any Z4s on the street until a couple of weeks ago and then a couple of days ago - the same car - a S.F. Red M40i. Turns out it's garaged within four or five blocks from me! Two S.F. Red cars (mine an sDrive 30i) within blocks. What are the odds?
