And yet another plus for the mid engine car that runs sub 3 sec 0-60, very low 11’s 1/4’s, 500hp. It also seems to be getting near 30mpg if you keep you’re foot out of it.

Found this review to be very good, the understeer is very disappointing though.

The understeer issue seems to be hit or miss depending on who's reviewing

Brand new, totally different mid engine design from the front engine car, in only it’s second race. The C8R yesterday won the checkered at Daytona following the long winning tradition of the C5R, C6R and C7R. Took the center podium over the 2nd, 3rd Place 911’s. Corvette racing history continues its winning way.

A brief look ahead at a 2021 Corvette and a deeper look back at a past Holy Grail Corvette.

I'm not sure why you're calling the color new. Maybe I'm thinking of a different forum, but I think a C8 in bronze with yellow brake calipers was posted in this thread months ago. They are rare though with I think only a couple made in ZB before WuFlu shut down the plant.

Personally I don't choose browns for nearly anything. Nobody would call my wardrobe anything but voluminous, yet I don't think I own a brown jacket, shoes or belt. I haven't ever owned a vehicle with tan/brown interior either.

This color isn't for me, but I can see someone else choosing it. It does make the car look more "mature." I think this is a color that calls for some really-nice wheels though.

I am not sure how the MPG rating got reduced for the C7, but earlier C7 window stickers used to say 29 MPG highway, but my 2017 C7 window sticker said 25 MPG. I never got under 30 MPG on the highway even driving above posted speed limits. Driving back and forth from DC to Raleigh, I always got 32-33 MPG on 93 octane fuel. So I am thinking it will be somewhat similar when I get my C8. I am guessing that highway MPGs will be 29-30 for me under similar conditions.

I just posted my C7 for sale since I should be getting my C8 in the next couple months.

Porsche offered a similar color for the 911 (997 and 991.1) and it seems there are quite a few of them out there. Most of them have tan interiors too.

Those guys don't know anything. They are just parroting what everyone else is saying.

I find this a much more informative video on the topic:

What do you mean? They drove the car. You don't need to be an expert to sense understeer.

He means they drove the car, jabbed the throttle while yanking the wheel, lightening the front end, causing the understeer, rather than driving hard around corners at the limit and not attempting to upset the chassis.

Yeah, you don't need to be an expert to cause understeer with terrible driving either.

I can make my NC Miata, that was setup by the President of the EVO school, and make it understeer with crappy inputs.

Everything will push if you enter a corner too fast so it really needs comparison vs it's peers.
