I've never been sick, but I know I am getting dehydrated at the track when I start to feel a bit dizzy while driving. I did get a bit of a headache when driving a Ferrari F430 on the track—man that engine SCREAMS behind your head!

I'm going to Santa Cruz tomorrow and ride some roller coasters---I'll have a couple cocktails before and let you guys know if I get that feeling. Much cheaper than the cars mentioned here.

First of all you are right, he said grey out. Second, I was highly congested with a sinus infection and plugged ears. So I am not sure if I technically had a grey out, probably not, but he said the symptoms were identical due to the fact that I could barely breathe to begin with and my equilibrium was probably all messed up.

Yep, I can see that happening, but nothing like gray out or black out from pulling Gs.

Yeah that's why I mentioned being sick to begin with. I was dizzy as hell just standing up. I have driven cars that are much faster than my current car (Dinan Stage 2 M235 vert) and NEVER had anything like that happen before.

He gave me the standard old school doctor advice of don't do that shit until you feel better.

Anyone else experienced this?
Is it something you can adjust to?

I otherwise really liked the car. Put a real grin on my face.
umm thats not even a fast car....

Even in our GT3 with launch control I dont really get that feeling. Definitely puts a smile on my face though

A 1,200hp GTR made my chest feel odd. Too bad every single car I've been in since feels incredibly slow.

Edit: it's not about the speed, it's about the suspension. That's what gives you that feeling.
That explains a lot. I used to get mildly sick in my M3 in the canyons until I got stiffer suspension.

Felt sick twice as a passenger on a road course. Both times at NJMP Thunderbolt track. First was in a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 and second was a race-prepped Porsche Cayman. Both were violent.

At the Barrett-Jackson auction at Mohegan Sun in June, I got a ride-along in a Hellcat Charger and a Shelby GT-350. Both were just a pair of 1/8 mile acceleration runs. Neither made me sick at all, despite the Hellcat being the fastest car I've ever been in, and both cars fishtailing throughout the run.

I don't think fast acceleration alone would ever make me sick, but then maybe a funny car or top fuel car would do it.
