Average is definitely 5 hours. In bed usually at 2:30 AM then up at 7:30 AM for work at 8 AM.

Weekends I'm in bed at 2:30 AM and up and about at like 3 PM. (Unless there's a soccer game on)

Demographics: 35 y/o, single, no pets, no breathing probs, can fall asleep in 3 min.

I have learned that increments of 1.5 work best for me. Hence, weekend naps are super special!

I have zero problem going to sleep. It's the staying asleep that I have issues with. 0200, brain wakes and thinks "What if I. . . " It could be the Beetle, the dog, a firewall update, trip to Mexico, my sock drawer, the garden, or just some country song.

Sleep at 1am wake up at 8am so 7 hours. Still young but when I'm older I think 11:30-6:30 would be my perfect sleep schedule

Doesn't matter how much sleep I get, I never wake up feeling refreshed. No idea if it's a sleep problem, or just my state of mind

It depends. 3 to 8 hours. Depending on one major factor...

9-10pm to 5am. I usually wake up at 3ish and fall back asleep but it takes a while. I've never been able to sleep in either so I'm up by 7am on the weekends.

6-7hrs a night I'd guess?

Welllllll, I have one from back in 2007. I could never keep it on so its boxed up under the bathroom sink. I have a new sleep study waiting to be scheduled for me right now. I'm sure I'll get a new one as they have changed some apparently.

Then I need to tell you something important.

My dad had undiagnosed and untreated sleep apnea. This condition eventually led to undiagnosed congestive heart failure. Dad died 40 years ago at the young age of 55. He spent the last year of his life constantly fatigued.

My sleep therapy is a 30mg Temazepam every night for the past 15 years. No side effects. Works like a charm. Before that had insomnia. Prescription drugs are good.

I'm my own worst enemy....but now even the dog won't sleep with me. So much for mans best friend.
I'm doing something about it. In my warped mind, just calling the doctor is doing something to make it better. But I really will work on this (mostly for my wife)

Once in a while I’ll take an OTC pain reliever olive Tylenol-PM or Alka Seltzer chews PM. I think there may be a NyQuil product with just the sleep part, without the cold remedy.
