Oh man, fun days tracking my Z4 from Germany to US … but truth be told, I am glad it's here and I am not driving myself nuts tracking it and wondering if they are loading to much rum while stopping in the Caribbean for way too long …

Too funny. I so wanted to pick it up on a Saturday, but my dealer didn't get it ready. I told him nobody better test drive it … when I picked it up on Monday, it had exactly 10 miles on it. I gave them heck (mostly jokingly, but also because I hadn't forgiven him for not getting it ready for me on Saturday).

Just curious. Haven't seen a post of your new wheels. Love to see some photos. I have a Z4 on order with the same color combination. Hope you love it!

not a 3.0 but ordered a m40i first week of June in Frozen Grey and told build date was July 23 with delivery Sept 1 so about 3 months. I think the color may have added some time as told fewer of these being made. the wait is half the fun as my old 2007 M coupe took about 3 months too.

I know the G29 Z4 is built in Austria. It’s my understanding most BMWs built in Germany for the North America market are shipped out of Bremerhaven in northern Germany. Would a Z4 destined for Port Hueneme, CA also be sent to Bremerhaven for the boat ride?

Just put in an order Friday for an SDrive 3.0i :: Alpine White with Red interior. I’m told 8-10 weeks. Came here to get a better idea as to me it took upon placing order to delivery from customer experience. So excited for this. Been wanting to get a Z4 since 2003. Still in scheduled for production status as of this morning.
