I'd personally get one that is a little larger. Fit all magazines and a box of ammo. This one is at dick's in NOLA.

It should be just fine for your purposes.

I have the same Gunvault Mini that Mr Tonka recommended. It is a good size for one handgun and a second magazine. I have only had to change the batteries once in the last three or four years which is nice. My only complaint is that it "beeps" each time you push a button so there's no way to unlock it quietly if someone is in your house and you don't want to give away your position. Doesn't sound like that's an issue for you though.

If it's not for home defense, what is it for? In your purse? Only in the car traveling? If you're learning to use it, would at least learn to learn it for the basics of home safety.

I would consider it, but there are a lot of things I would consider differently as a parent than a single male. There are some really good safe boxes online, so they're kind of tailored to your own individual situation.

You said money doesn't matter, this might be geared towards what might work well for you;

Is for going to and from work. You've been to New Orleans. You know how scary it is here. I work downtown. I park two blocks away from my building in a garage that I sometimes see homeless people sleeping in the stairwell, sketchy ass guys, guys who have followed me and co workers. There is a police escort but they stop at 6. A lot of nights I don't leave until 7 or 8 and I'm on the only person, walking in the dark, by myself, past a bunch of men sitting in the windows and the benches doing god knows what deals, I don't feel safe. If my boss is still at work, he will always walk me to my car, but there are nights when he leaves before I do.

My home is safe and sound .

You should get a conceal carry purse then. They most likely wont be Louis V or Gucci, but it would be most practical to your situation. There are designer conceal garments that are level III, but expensive since hand made in small quantities.

Should still get a safe for the house also that's easily attainable, but that's just me.

I bought this for open and concealed carry. It fit right in my pants and depending on which shirt or jacket, I can hide it 💯

For the next 6-8 months. Concealed permit application processors arent exactly as fast as the DMV. It takes a very very long time.

If this is directed at me, that is the most preposterous thing Willis. That's basically saying every single person in my 36 story building who works late needs to find another career. Yeah okay, not happening.

You do realize just about anyone could see you open carry, take you down, and run off with your gun, right?

Seriously, thats the dumbest thing you could do.
