Didn't wanted the first ( cheaper ) Lamborghini, just told you guys about it, so we ended up with an 50's anniversary, carbon spoiler, red ( rosso mars ), suede all over the place and RWD.
LP550-2 coupé
Still debating...

Maybe one day, won't hold my breath. When I reach 1000 a month on a car note, that'd be God's sign telling me to have kids.

For most, its more about the affordability than anything else.

Median income in Singapore is about $39,000USD+ but a Huracan cost $821,000USD.

A 2012 LP-550-2 is asking for $360,000USD.

A brand new M4 RRP is about $291,000USD in Singapore which really makes $100k+ for a 2nd hand Gallardo a real bargain.

It's not because I can't afford one, but I have never really been impressed by Gallardos. I like them, but I can't see myself parting with $100k for one.

There's a point in time where quality becomes more important than quantity. Then there is @cangrke70 with his $100 shirt.
$100 really isn't that much for a dress shirt. Pretty much anyone working in finance is expected to wear at least a $90 Brooks Brothers shirt.

So you'd drive a Z4MR but not a Z4MC?

I work in IT... Let's see right now I'm rocking jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, and a hoodie; if I came in here in a Brooks Brothers shirt they'd think I'm heading to court.

I remember when I used to dress nice for work.

Now it's jeans and a T-shirt. Casual Friday every day.

One thing I noticed about Brooks Brothers is that even their black models look like poster boys for the Waffen-SS.

With my current income bracket and having only 1 income source, I am a guy who considers every purchase as an investment. If I am buying something, it has to keep the value from not too far what I paid for it.

I don't believe most of Ferraris, Lambos hold their value... That's why I have not purchased it.

However, when I make enough money so that I can easily spend $100k + on toys like I spend $2k~$3k car toys now, I will have a no problem owning one.

Besides, I much prefer Ferrari F430 for that price range.

That is exactly what Ferrari and Lamborghini hate. They build excellent cars, it's the drivers that ruin their image. Kind of like pitbulls and their owners.

Not true. Ferrari and Lambo market to different wealth profiles.

Not sure if serious or trolling...

$100 is an arbitrary number that is easy for people to use for quick mental proportions...

I guess I could have said...

"Some people would rather have 2 [$(X/2)] shirts while some people want 10 [$(X/10)] shirts. And then there is CANGRKE who likes to buy shirts that cost [$X]"

For the six figure exotic range, I think I would rather have an F430. From what I have heard, they are pretty reliable and the maintenance cost isn't too far fetched, relatively speaking. Also, if OP can get one for $80k, I don't feel that he will lose more than $20k in depreciation before the car's value starts to settle or appreciate. If you can find a six speed version, I'd suggest that so that people can buy one for when they want to row their own gears in 10-15 years when no cars have clutches.

Some people here have M4s for weekend cars with limited usage. To me, I wish I had that type of money to not care about the depreciation when I could buy a used exotic for nearly the same price, drive it nearly the same mileage, and possibly pay the same price or possibly less.

Bingo! A new M4 as a daily driver is fine, but as a weekend car is a dumb choice. A used exotic will drive AND depreciate better.

Nice watch! Is that the newly released Seiko?

Red Lambo with a wing! Looks good. Take it to Underground Racing in Texas for a couple mods (couple meaning two... two meaning turbos)
