Dude, 22LR is the most versatile round there is, not to mention the cheapest... unless you want to consider BB guns and airsoft

end of the world bug out scenario, and I could take only ONE gun, I just might take my .22 rifle.

YUP that's what I'd do too. Shotgun is more versatile but way too loud, can't be suppressed which in GTFO situation might be the saving grace

Not to mention you can buy a brick of .22LR and shoot all day for 17 bucks.

Both true. To this point I've considered my primary shotgun, ar and pistol as my go to for bug out.

For bugout I like a setup with calibers I can find anywhere and high speed low drag. 9mm handgun and a .22lr breakdown (I like the Marlin Papoose and AR7) with a low-power optic. A battle rifle or scoped rifle would be a huge plus but of course you can't take it all. Guess it just depends what's laying around lol.

But if I could only have one, it'd be a Ruger 10/22 or Marlin 25N with a good scope and a can.

and of course the pills to go with them

Winner, 10/22 with CIC standard volocity rounds in a suppressor are as loud as clapping. Mine will do 1/4 groups at 50 yards as well.
My bug out would be the 10/22 and my CZ 100. A bag full of silver for trading and lead for high speed trading.

I don't think CCI SV in a 10/22 is even clap loud if your gun is oiled up nicely

I made that video in the living room of the home I lived in at the time and I was hitting 3-5 inch swinging steel plates at around 75 yds

Yeah me too. Wife's first gun actually but I'm guessing I will shoot it way more than her.

What brand of wall mount system is that? I really wanted to mount my guns horizontally like that, but just didn't have the room.

Last afternoon hunt of the season. Got my trophy earlier in the month. Time to add a little more meat to the freezer. [IMG][/IMG]
