About forty years ago my company leased cars from Hertz. One day a slew of envelopes showed up from PennDot each one containing a plate and registration card. Reading between the lines in the enclosed letter the prison license plate shop foreman screwed up and multiple plates were made repeating the same number sequence. We were instructed to put on the replacement plate and return the one removed in the enclosed prepaid envelope.
