It might drain your battery. Wire it to the appropriate fuse (one that goes to sleep).

It’s detecting something is draining the battery. Depending on how long you leave your car parked it will drain it completely. Unless you want it recording full time just tap it to a fuse that shuts down after car is closed. There’s some posts about that here
