Keep in mind...this wasn't the Maine Coon.
I need to find a good pic of him. Our Maine Coon is bigger than this cat! Lol

But I guess you won't know until they grow in full size right? Hehehe some cardio is always good, even for our furry friends! Ahhh its so difficult to find Scottish kilt/munchkins...breeders some how all located in east coast Is it unusual for breeders to have young/adult ones instead of kittens? |

He mentioned his daughter was married, I recall.
Regarding Maine Coon sizing, here you are: https://f20.1addicts.com/forums/show...5#post23774305, https://f20.1addicts.com/forums/show...2#post24579132. In particular: . I believe Now_Rudi has shared his own dimensions (to compare) around too (Not for girls! ). |

My daughter has a Norwegian forest cat. Oddly enough, the only breeder we found was on the east coast in NC. But we only lived a few hours from the place. We also have Norwegian Elk Hounds. The two we have came from my BIL who breeds them. Then we have the Mini-Schanauzer in the house. |

I'm not too fond of having the kitten or cat transported through plane, since that's what most offers shipping with companion. But I rather have one that I absolutely love than one not as much. I did locate one near driving distance just yesterday though, I'll have to see when the next litter comes in and I'll most likely share the pictures here if I successfully acquire one (: |

Cats are wild. They have their own attitude and will hold grudges. Dogs are there with you no matter how bad you may screw up....even more so than your best friend!

We are cats and dog people. And you are correct about dogs....they need room and company where a cat is fine in its own for awhile....and sometimes prefer it that way. Luckily my wife was able to stop working at 40, and she has time to keep our animals company. She also gets to volunteer at animal shelters.

Ginger’s first ride outside the carrier. Too soon. She still needs to be in the carrier.

Ace.
Czech line working shepherd. Same dog that military, police use. Hes an animal. Hates people, extremely protective, very dominate.. but a cute cuddly teddy bear with his family. This is the pet you want if you lived somewhere in the sticks, and wanted protection. |

A friend of mine along with his wife is a "Foster Family" for these dogs. He has a huge amount of property and takes in a lot. Of course they want to keep them all. But they really do "vet" the people that adopt them.
They also ask that if for some reason the family that adopts can't keep one....to please bring it back to them.

Greyhounds are surprisingly gentle dogs, that make good family pets. Being pack dogs, they also do well with most other dogs. We see quite a few retired racers here. It's fun to watch them run in our park, with the other breeds somehow thinking they can keep up, somehow...! Murf |

It's a struggle. Feel like every 2 months I have to take the dogs to the groomers. Hair grows so damn fast. And being where I'm located I try to get it relatively short since it's so hot down here. Groomers are expensive too, pain in my ass haha.
