She is home!!! In Love 😍
Finally picked up my M40i yesterday - all went well! Dealership was great they owned the 4.9 APR with BMWFS as they locked it in 3 months ago when I ordered it!! Was so nice to hear that!!! Also got a voucher to BMW performance center 🤭😲😲 super happy!!! Also the blue stitching on seats came out very well matching well with alpine white and blue break calipers… going with 18 inch helped to get Michelins instead of the continentals coming with 19s now!!! Very very happy!!! Below are some pictures..

Very nice! I haven't seen a color that didn't look good on the Z4. Maybe it's just the car. I would have preferred the 18" wheels, but I bought mine CPO, and it had 19" wheels. Just finding a Z4 around here is a challenge, so can't be too picky.

Congrats, it looks beautiful.
The blue stitching stands out and you should ride with the top down as often as possible to show it off! |

Very cool spec. Did you custom order it?
Also, I'm glad to hear about the 18" wheels coming with the Michelin tires. As much as I complain about them being ancient, I still think they're better than the SportContact6 (which is also an older design). My Z4 M40i with 18" wheels is currently on a boat somewhere around Panama. |

Congrats! Love this look- when the manual is offered going to be an agonizing decision around colors. Do you plan to lower it with aftermarket springs? |

Rears were at or below wear bars and getting slippery out there even in the dry. The fronts could have lasted a bit longer but I wanted a new set of Michelins. When I drive the car, I drive the car.

I just got my winter wheels put on today, and I think they’re the exact same style as these 18”s, just in a darker color. I like the color of yours better.

Thank you guys - I am very happy how it came out.. did a small 100 mile round trip today - and it’s very comfortable in comfort mode, with top closed (5 miles ) to test it out, it’s quite too!!! Planning to go out tomorrow as well… man finding reason to ride it!!!

When did they start putting Alcantera on the door panels and headrest sections? Was that part of a package or is it standard on M40is now? I’m partial to AW, of course. Looks great!

Its part of the seat selection in US - been there for a long time now, I think they introduced it part of the 2022 end LCI.. I am not sure.. If you select the one says black leather seats with blue stitching you get Alcantera on the doors. Only available in that option..

BTW, has anyone mounted the Bridgestone RE-71RS? That seems to be the darling of 200TW performance tire now. |
