I would say between $4,000 - $5,000, depending on if there's rust or other stuff you don't know about

1998 528i 5MT with 110,000 miles has a KBB value of $2324...maybe a little more or less, depending on options. The fact that it is an "M5 replica" doesn't really add anything (and may actually detract from the car's value) unless you find someone who's willing to pay extra for your mods.

My friend in NJ recently bought a loaded '02 530i 5mt with 120k for $3500.

Pretty much this...somebody who wants an M5...doesn't want a replica and people who just want an older car won't want to pay extra because of the extra stuff you put on the car...sorry
