Looks like you are looking at a well speced car at a nice price. It has been so quick. I spent a year working out what I wanted and 3 months finding the right one (I bought used). 16 months in to ownership now, and I still get a buzz every time I drive my white/magma M40i. Looks like it might be one of my forever cars.

My only question concerns the interest rate. Is this rate from BMW’s website or your salesperson? Be careful that they aren’t adding an extra point which many dealers try to do!

Also tell your salesperson to throw in the BMW all weather floor mats and the wheel locks to seal the deal. 😉

It isn’t crazy because I went to my dealer to purchase a 4 series convertible and saw a white/ cognac 30i sitting in his indoor garage. I asked him what it was as I had never seen the G29 before.

I immediately took it out for a test drive and loved the car. When I returned to the showroom I told him that I wanted the M40i instead in Misano Blue/ Ivory without ever test driving one. I ordered it the same day I did my test drive with the 4 cylinder engine. 🤪

Skip the extended warranty it’s a total rip off on a new car.

$7000 off MSRP I’d take that deal.

Love it. I researched my G29 so much, but had never driven one. I went to the dealer for mine and had a 5 minute test drive, bought it on the spot and had it at home 4 hours later. Saying that I've been a little frivolous too. I bought a new E36 M3 Evo in 1996 without a test drive at all. 8 month wait for the car to be built. I loved that car. Over 6.5 years I did 98000 miles in it including a lot of fun events.

^^^^^^This

When some people know, they know and make it happen.

I drove my 440 convertible to the dealer a few weeks ago to test drive the G29 M40i to get a little side by side comparo. Not even close how much better the Z is in my opinion. The chassis is so stiff for a convertible and the B58 is jacked up for more HP than the one in my 440.

I enjoy these stories since it shows people are out there enjoying themselves. Is it crazy, sure you could say that, but it’s a great crazy!!

I feel like that's a fairly good deal TBH. APR is 6% (money factor × 2400), and there seem to be no other shenanigans there.

I'm guessing the residuals for these aren't great so you might actually want to buy it at the end depending on how the market is then.

I'd personally try to aim for zero down and just have the numbers shift around to accommodate that, but $5K down is not unreasonable.

Instead of debadging you may wish to consider the gloss black badges which many of us have and looks great with the Shadowline package.
If I’m not mistaken others in this forum already have them on your SFR color and it really enhances the appearance of the rear of the Z4.

Also, have you considered getting either PPF and/ or ceramic coating for your beauty?

$40,881 isn’t that bad a residual payment.

Congratulations on your lease. Been looking at used/new Z4s for over a year. Could not commit. But did finally make the decision. My car is now sitting in Austria waiting on transport. (And yes, as has been referenced in this thread, I was willing to spend the extra "$7000" mentioned. The manual put me over the edge.)
