Since 1961, the Government of Ecuador and the Government of the United States, through the U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID), have worked in partnership on countless innovative and sustainable programs to advance Ecuador’s development objectives. USAID invested more than $800 million throughout 53 years of partnership to help improve the lives of millions of Ecuadorians through economic opportunities, biodiversity conservation, infrastructure, civic participation, health services, education, housing, and disaster prevention and mitigation.

It uses less charcoal, can more easily and accurately control the temperature, it gets much hotter than a kettle style and is far more versatile. It also seems to be ready to cook about 5 min quicker than kettle style. You can sear at steakhouse temps, bbq roast or smoke. You can cook pizzas in it as well. Has several rack attachments that allow for heat deflectors, pizza stone, vertical rib holders, etc... You can put a regular amount of charcoal in it, adjust the temperature to 250 degrees and it'll stay there, without adding charcoal for 6-8 hours. I've only had it for 6 months or so, but i like it a lot. Haven't used the webber since. Going to list it on CL soon.

There was some new construction that was all tracked out from being muddy last week, but was dry now. So I made a quick pass through it bouncing around. |

But wait... I have a SERIOUS Canadian question. You said to ask here. I was in a business meeting with a very senior executive at a Canadian company (well, a Canadian OpCo of a US company, but... w/e). Anyway, I imagine you are familiar with the expression, "the elephant in the room". Well, she said she wanted to get the moose out on the table. I chortled inside, as is my wont, but no one blinked. Is that a thing in Canada, or was this just a peculiarity of her personal speech?

Labattes? Is that like a cross between a beer and a latte? Hell, if anyone could pull that off, it'd be the Canadians.

Do Yuppies, by strict 80s/90s definition still exist? Or are they called something else now?
