GT3 with manual looks nice, not doubt. But, if I got a 911, I'd get a base Carrera S with a stick, sports exhaust, sound system, and nice seats.

My dealer still hasn't gotten a QV in; may have to give another dealer a shot. Have heard some problems with early cars, though. Hopefully they iron out the kinks. To further complicate things, there is a nice F80 at my home BMW dealer.

Those Alfa's have been breaking down during testing, let alone whatever issues owners are actually reporting. LOL. No 6MT is also a deal-breaker for me, regardless. That car doesn't make enough power to not warrant one as an option.

But with that price difference between the 911's, I'd consider the GT3. Just my opinion though. They are ridiculously pricey even in S trim, let alone with minimal options that come standard on one package on my M3. Lmao.

It works pretty nicely man, allows for decent control of basic functions and GPS/map integration for sending information to the car ahead of time, and stuff. I haven't really used it much since I have not been driving it often, but it looks promising. Also makes it easy to switch between your different BMW's, if you have that kind of problem.

Man, I'm in a love/hate relationship with the E46. During the summer, I love it because it's a blast to drive. During the winter, I hate it for the investment I have in it. I had a spreadsheet that I used to track what I purchased. After a while, I added a column to include the difference between what I paid and what the cost is. Made me feel better about my purchases since I got a deal on some things. Then I deleted the cell that held the sum equation. Unfortunately that didn't stop me from figuring out the total. So then I deleted the whole damn spreadsheet and I try not to think about it anymore. Lmao

I am also trying to decide what I want as my next daily. As much as I love the GLI, I think it's time to move on. I've been in an MK6 since 2011. Debating if I want another car or possibly an SUV to tow the E46 around with. I'm afraid if I get an SUV I would hate my life having to drive it everyday.

No 6mt is a bummer, no doubt. But, from what I hear the 6MT option on it isn't that good...still sucks, but guess it's not all too bad.

Porsche's pricing is ridiculous, yes. But, their cars are like suits, imo.

I only use it if I am not currently driving the car and need to recall service info/mileage. It's also funny to log in and see how much gas is left in it, because I am still in awe that that's even a feature. LOL.

My guy received one. Found electrical gremlins during inspection, so they sent it back.

Not the best way to start a car launch, but at least they're making sure it's a quality product before trying to sell it.

Hopefully they're available by April.
