I think it’s a worthy option to have on a Z4.
BMW tends to hold back some features for "marketing?" reasons. Despite my Z4 & M4 having identical dashboards the data & displays presented are very different.

Added the stripes at the top. Functionally a line runs up the tack & the lines join & flash as a last shift point before the nanny cuts the power.

The M4 has two different main displays depending on mode selection. This carries through to the HUD even though the base comfort HUD shows more info than the Z4's best projection.

Would agree all you really need in Nav, Tach, Speed & Gear. The rest makes for a better Toy.

Any "Frozen" paint will be more challenging to clean and NOT mar the matt finish. I'd inquire about the paint maintenance process....but that Frozen Grey does look nice..especially the one's depicted with the Cognac interior.

Sorry..my post a bit late but see you've already decided...congrats from an envious admirer (for the time being!) of Z4 owners

Looks like the speedo/tach in the picture is a 4 cylinder car.

Red line is variable. 2020-2024 Z4 M40i 8ZF is 6,500RPM . 2022 M4C 8ZF is 7,200RPM, 2025 Z4 M40i 6MT is 6,000RPM-? C&D is specing the car at 382BHP @ 6,500.

Don't really think its important as the actual output is unknown without a dyno run. Once you have the dyno graph you can figure what the optimum shift points are for the car. Red line is very seldom optimum.

One thing is certain is the car will be slower than the 8ZF due to shift time. Should still be great fun to drive & a future classic.
