I like that car in Erie with the exception of the wheels. I know they are super popular, but I just don’t care for black rims.

I didn’t get a chance to go look at that silver one near me this weekend due to some other stuff we had going on which I forgot about. I’m wondering if they’d be willing to offer any discounts based on what you said with the weather. We’ve also worked with that dealer before on my wife’s car. Her lease is up in March, so I’m wondering if I play that card too, since we could just offer to buy two cars assuming we get fair prices.
If you love Misano blue stick to your guns and either order a new one or find one in stock. Don't settle for second-best.

Unfortunately Misano is gone for 2023. It’s been replaced by Portimao Blue. I prefer Misano, but Portimao is nice. It was my second choice when I got my current car.

I was thinking of the 2022 at the Erie dealer.

I know you love that color combination so why don't you just test the waters and see how flexible they are on the price?

I may shoot them an email tomorrow. If it didn’t have the black wheels I’d be all over it

Look at my car's picture again, it may grow on you! I especially like the contrast of my red calipers against the black wheels.

I actually think I may be better off with a 2023. It looks like it might end up cheaper. I’m looking at the order guide now and am noticing a few things, assuming I’m reading everything correctly.

1.) base MSRP is the same
2.) metallic paint is up $100, but the Vernasca leather is down $200
3.) active cruise control goes from $1,200 in 2022 model year to $550 in 2023

Also, for anyone familiar, there’s two line items in the order guide called “competitive allowance”. One is -$1,075 and the other is -$1,615. Does anyone know what those are?

Are you totally sure about such a low price for the ACC, that does not sound right? I would double check that amount.

The ‘23 I spec’d came out $1400 less than a’22.

Is it this low because the price sheet is for Military and Diplomatic Sales?

I’m not sure. Everything else is pretty much the exact same price. The Vernasca is $200 cheaper as well. This seems to be the case on all 2023 models compared to 2022 (I looked at the 4 series configurator to verify the 2023 price).

Yeah, the one I was building is like $1K cheaper. Seems weird.

I must be losing my mind because I just at several 2023 4 series models including the M4 on the BMW USA site and didn't see the ACC listed at all.

Sorry, was referring to just the leather prices. I think the ACC is bundled with some other stuff on the 3/4 series, in the professional drivers assistance package.

With regards to ACC, I would expect most modern cars come with it, or at least have it on mid level and higher packages. I was surprised the Z4 had it as an extra individual option and very costly! Even lower end Subarus have it.

The lower price doesn’t surprise me. Probably not much of a difference to make me want it (I may be in a minority in not liking it). I will admit, that it is probably a good safety addition on top of the collision assist.

I agree with you I chose not to get ACC. We have it in my wife's vehicle and I am not a fan. Regular cruise control is fine with me.

Hi there. Thank you. I am working through a few things on my M340 (as far as selling/trading in). Once I get that finalized I’ll let you know!
