Meanwhile, you give no legitimate links to any of your arguments and beliefs, you seem to mostly just parrot the Trump campaign, nuff said.

I'll just leave all of you who are so smitten with Trump with one thought. If he actually is elected, which I highly doubt will happen, do you think your life is really going to improve? Do you really think our economy and our life styles will improve. Do you think he actually gives a rats ass about anyone except himself? He got to where he is screwing those around him; the thought of him as a president of this country is not only embarrassing, it's frightening.

Good luck to all of you and to our country.

Well, I did previously say I'd likely vote for Cruz. But if you decide what "fair" is, feel free to post.

He does the same on every post.
No original thought, just regurgitated waffle.

Him and his little buddy Roundel are a lost cause.

What part of you are not welcome here anymore do you not understand?

Go to the UK section of the forum if you insist on criticizing the US.
You're popping off in most every active thread regarding AMERICAN issues is out of bounds and tacky.

Thanks.

So there is no reasoned response to:

1. Who gets to decide, and what is someone's "fair share" of taxes,

2. What are all these "tax loopholes" the evil rich are exploiting.

Instead, you both respond with name calling. Again. Talk about regurgitated talking points - I've never heard a democrat define any of these, despite leaning so heavily on the points. I guess it's whatever they "feel" it is.

Why is a Brit not allowed to comment in a thread about US politics? Safe space?

Arguably what goes on in the US political sphere has direct implications abroad, so I don't see the problem.

Simply because we don't comment on theirs...

Or their police state or their joke of a health care system...

I don't applaud non citizens of this country who go off on our supposed failures and wars we've been a part of while missing their own countries short falls and or joint involvement all together. Not one positive sentence was posted by emeye and calling people retard was juvenile.
He/she can join any discussion they please. Hitting a nerve as mentioned showed me that was about all the intent was to begin with.

Everyone have a great start of spring weekend.

That's because the most insular country in the World doesn't know a thing about anything outside the US.
Americans are famed for their total lack of overseas knowledge. It's both hilarious and alarming.

I get the feeling a couple of members here are attempting to "threaten" me off contributing here. Very revealing and a fairly typical tactic for those out of their depth.

BTW, I don't hate the US; I want to like it. I want to explore it. But I feel it is a country in dire crisis and that had direct impact on the rest of the West.
There's a brilliant series here about Obama and how he very quickly discovered that while he had grand plans for change, it was simply too late.

You should visit, you'll quickly see that the stereotypes aren't as accurate as you portray them to be.

I mean you guys can't even make food properly...you BOIL beef, depending on where you go, the US has great food (and no not the tiresome stereotype of super sized Big Macs and slurpees, we're talking about actual farm to table food).

The country isn't in dire crisis or whatever hyperbolic nonsense you hear on the news.

The amusing thing is, you can't hold a vaguely intelligent debate about anywhere else (or in fact your own country) because you don't know a thing about anywhere else. And that insular attitude is part of your country's problem.

And trying to win a debate by telling someone to go away doesn't tend to work.

Back to kindergarten...

I've never seen boiled beef in my life. We have all of Europe to call on; our food is varied and often excellent (I'm a trained chef). But of course we have our bland rubbish too. But I'm struggling to see how that's relevant to the debate.

The insular nature isn't because Americans are stupid, our local news doesn't cover it as much. Not to sound arrogant but things that happen in the UK doesn't affect the US very much. However, things in the Middle East? The news covers that more closely as what's happening there affects what happens here (as well as over in Europe).

Whereas what happens in America has a significant impact on the rest of the world. Namely economic but part of it is military.

The US is the most insular in the world?

I wonder how many Chinese have traveled abroad? North Koreans? We know the Syrians are well-traveled at this point. But I wonder about Indians, Pakistanis, and just about everyone else on the planet? In fact, by saying you "want to explore the US," it doesn't seem like you have been here much, if ever?

The U.K. Is an awesome place, with many wonderful people. But its citizens don't think like Americans. That's not wrong or right - it's just a fact. To make assumptions and try to measure one or the other using the different set of rules is inaccurate, and does a disservice.

It isn't, it was a facetious comment, you're too uptight.

And no, your food isn't excellent. Of South America, Central America, Asia and Europe that I've been to, Europe (specifically the UK) had by far the worst food I've ever had. Most of my American friends tend to agree the food there is meh. Anything from San Francisco or NYC blows it out of the water, exception being maybe France.

Anywho, back on topic of you mindless bashing Americans, calling people retards in the guise of a mature debate and intelligent discourse.
