Looks cool
This car hasn't caught on at all, saw some great deals on them. Had previous generation and loved it. The point of this car is art and design, it's just cool to look. Not to mention being quick.

The z4 is not selling for a reason... Even though it's a good car, it's priced as much as the new Vette and the design is a little awkward. The concept was gorgeous and the back of this car is striking, but most people I know do not like it. Looking at the Nov sales #s, car sales are just down altogether. 3 series sales are up from the outgoing gen, but when you compare them to when the f gen was released, they are down significantly. Same with the 8 series vs the previous gen 6.

Not a fan of the front that much, 3D's take, not the Z4 overall. The diffuser is nice though. Those paddles will run you $800, yikes!

I wish I could stow away a 2 seater for the weekend when I could "escape" for a little while... I'd love to have a Z4 M40! Personally, I think Porsche owns that niche segment and anyone that challenges them in that price point will get hammered. Heck, even read the Boxters aren't selling that well either... Also, I think the Z4 has that Supra stigma that people just can't get over. Even some guys at the dealership give the Z4 the cold shoulder. Not sure how the Supra is selling, but even here in SoCal, I have yet to see one on the road. If BMW would like to give me one to drive around for publicity, I will sure oblige 😂😂. Can the stick an S58 in it, toss on some 6-pot/4-pot brakes and suspension upgrades 😉😉🤗🤗😂😂.

Soft-tops are absolutely timeless.
Folding Hard-tops are completely played, and went out hard like Disco.

Thoroughly enjoying my ugly as sin M40i. One of the upsides of the soft top is that no trunk space is sacrificed and the Z4 has a big trunk. I think the 3D Design stuff looks pretty good.

No doubt.
It's really an easy car to like. Not quite as roomy as a Boxster, but still it is very nice inside.

Everything is overpriced these days. Don't like it, then don't buy it.

I guess I just like the Z4M coupe look from generations prior. I agree I don't like folding hard tops either.

I'm with SakhirM4, I thoroughly enjoy my Z4 M40i. Plenty of power to break the tires loose and light/balanced enough to throw around town. May not beat out a boxster on the track, but it'll beat it around town (straight line, comfort, features) when prices the same.
Yes, the C8 is priced the same with better performance, but the similarly equipped C8 will quickly out price the Z4. Not to mention the lack of quality and customer service experience. I also like the goodies from 3D, but I can't justify their cost for the parts and why I really wish BMW would've developed some M Performance parts for this car like they do for their mainstream cars.

Looks fun minus the grill, which looks like something you win at an arcade after turning in all your tickets.
