IDrive issues

Having some weird problems with my iDrive, last few days when goes to power up (the screen) but flickers white and turns off. it will do this perhaps 10 times then eventually it will turn on and stay on. until I turn the car off and it starts all over again.

It's almost like it can't boot correctly but after a few attempts it gets there. Does anyone know where the brains of the CCC are? as seems like a loose connection or something.

The ccc drive is where you stick the discs into.The head unit so to speak.
