Hi all,

I have a 2013 328i M Sport almost fully loaded (MSRP 55,300).

I'm asking around to see if it's possible to get Active Sound on my car. If not, is there an alternative to Active Sound that can make my engine sound better? I heard MPPK can make the engine sound better but I think that's only for 35i's.

I already have M Performance exhaust but that just makes my car sound better from the outside...

Roll your windows down, but don't expect your 4-cyl. engine to sound like an inline-6 or V-8, especially from the inside.

Yeah my '13 335i is so quiet.. Even with Sport mode on that opens the exhaust flap... Can't hear anything.. i'm not exactly used to luxury sporty cars but I had an '08 335i and it must of had active sound because you could hear an amazing growl inside the cabin when you pushed it.

Anyways, i'm hoping active sound can be coded to '13s but not sure if the necessary microphone is already equipped to do this?

Edit: I can hear the turbo spool and blow off pretty decently with the windows down.. so at least that's neat.. Could never hear that on the old '08 N54.

if the sound of the car is all you are looking for, an axle back (mufflers only) will take care you. Cat back options will generally give you a little bump in performance.
