Door chip fix in the winter

My wife's car took a hit from another car on the door. It's about 30 degrees out so I can't really do touch up I don't think. What do I do, being the middle of winter? I'd imagine salt and weather so metal are not going to be good!

You're better off paying to have it filled if you can't try it yourself, rather than letting the snow/water and salt start the rusting process. I've had experience with applying sealant every few days to a bare paint chip and it didn't rust, but I'd recommend just doing touch up either yourself or at some shop.
