Sound is coming from the passenger side for sure. First though is that it is a exhaust leak right where the downpipe joins the midpipe in the slip joint as it is a very fast tick sound. If the muffler shop did not support the mid pipe properly and let it hanging when they welded on the new tube it may have shifted out.

Other thing it may be is the wastegate flapper noise which is also common on the cars and last will be the injector "clank" sound but seems the noise you have is too fast for that, so I still stand with it being a exhaust leak first and 2nd will be the turbo wastegate flapper.

DING DING DING! Easy fix for sure man. Glade you got it sorted out. Enjoy the car. Post some vids idling and reving and drive. Would like to see how it sounds with the stock muffler.

yeah easy fix , but they gotta order new part (gasket )which is $60 then labour on top ... looking at around $150 total all cause the guy who did my resonator did a sh!t job... for anyone in vancouver/richmond area stay away from hoeglers in richmond... prices there ARE cheap but shit it aint worth it. had my resonator removed by them, drove around for a day then started hearing bad rattling. brought it back to them only to find out he left the exhaust resting on the underbody supports. so you would just hear metal on metal clanking all day long. they did a quick fix, wedged it then heated the pipe up and pulled down on it with a crowbar and that obviously stressed out the downpipe to midpipe joint

clip with MPE and resonator delete

So how is it with the resonator delete vs just the MPE? I have the MPE and I could do with a little more sound, but I don't want drone.

Sorry I wasn't more specific. What I mean is was there a big difference in sound level from:

MPE only,

vs

MPE + Resonator delete.

Hey man I also got my resonators removed from HOEGLERS and had the exact same problem. I'm wondering which shop you got your exhaust fixed and if the problem was just with the gasket.
