I'm looking to upgrade my charge pipe and I notice that a lot of people use the charge pipe from Evolution Racewerks. I've noticed that the options are brushed or polished aluminum. My preference is to not have a lot of shiny things under my hood (sorry if I offended) so I was wondering if there's a company out there that makes a carbon fiber or a matte black (other than stock) charge pipe alternative? Thanks~

The only other one I believe is AFE and theres is red or black it looks pretty cool.

you can always get it powder coated man any color you want

No mods on my car currently but if I were to get the ER CP would I see any difference in performance while driving?

No not really maybe a better throttle response but thats about it I think.

Other than peace of mind knowing you won't blow your stock DP, nope. If you're under warranty still, just leave it be. If out of warranty, I'd replace it.

If you replace it, you're set at least for other bolt on mods down the road at least.

finally got around to installing ftp charge and tic pipes along with a cts turbo fmic. took about 3 hrs by myself...

i had actually ordered an ER charge pipe the passed two black fridays before xmas and for some reason ER failed to ship. while the vendor promptly refunded my money both times i was a bit miffed and took it as a "sign".

the ftp charge pipe fits very well. the tic fits almost as well. they came with worm gear clamps so i bought t-bolt clamps instead. the charge pipe came with o-rings but i used the o-rings from the factory charge pipe and tic pipe instead, as well as the spring c-clips.

ftp charge and tic combo $349 shipped (fast). cts turbo fmic $389 shipped (fast).
