WTB: OEM 2008 328i 16" Wheels
I know what you guys are thinking, "Who in their right mind would want to actually buy 16s?" I've been searching for a set of wheels for the E46 325i that I sold my mom a couple of months back. At first she wanted a set of 17" Sport rims from a '04/'05 325 but she was at the dealership the other day and spotted some 16s on an '08. I'm not going to discourage her, as its now her car and the tires are cheaper and the ride a little softer. Anyone know exactly what these rims are called?: I'd be interested in either just the rims or a wheel/tire package. No TPMS necessary. Post here, or shoot me an email: severecaraddict@aol.com I'd be willing drive most places in KY/TN/Southern IN. Shipping is always an option |

i have um and wouldn't mind selling but i think i need to keep um since i'm leasing right now (though i plan to buy). Anyone know how strict they are about returning the car with the exact wheels you got the car with? What about tires too.. do you have to have RFT's on the car when you give it back? I just want to be safe incase I can't buy it at the end of the lease. If they don't care too much (assuming I'm returning it with some kind of BMW wheels on it) maybe I'll sell um to you.

Awesome, Thanks!!! What's a fair price to pay? Let's be real, they ARE 16"s that MOST people aren't interested in. The tires on this set are probably worth the cost of the set. |

tires are worth about $400-$600 depending on how much tread is left.
rims are debatable... maybe $300 for good condition, $225 if lightly scratched up, $150 if torn up. maybe you could do what I'm planning (for my winter set up) and get some used rims that are in good-to light scratched condition and paint them. little more unique than just OEM wheels but cheap as well. |

let me know if you want um from me, I'll consider selling to you for right price.
3k and lots of tread on the RFT's. no rash on rims as i remember. I'll be keeping the TPMS though. I can do just rims but I'd rather sell w/ tires. |

Not a word dude. She works night as a Postal Worker (hide yer guns!) so she probably won't check her email til in the morning. I called her and left a voicemail for her to check it. Any idea what you want for them? I know she, like myself, always hates making offers on stuff like that.
Thanks, Shannon |

yeah yeah... we all have um.
didnt sound like his mom wanted to pony up the cash for a decent set w/ RFT's on them... at least for what we all would expect to sell them for. |

Its nothing personal dude. $1,200 for a set of 16"s isn't the best deal out there. As I stated in the original post, the tires dont matter. Most people with RFTs don't replace them with RFTs because they're noisy, they wear quicker, and they're more costly to replace.
