If you pick the Driving Assistance Package, the Parking Assistant doesn’t show up in the Options. Customers really can’t pick both. And I thought my dealer made a mistake when he couldn’t order both for me ... I think I need to apologize to him.

I'm in Atlanta right now. And I must honestly say I was looking forward to the 4.0 Z4. But I have been driving the California special mustang GT and looking at the pricing of the vehicle I have as a rental. I must honestly say my BMW M235 i have back home is going bye-bye. The mustang is definitely the most fun to drive vehicle. BMW has a lot of catching up to do. $69 k for a so so car is crazy.

look at the hard plastic allllll over the gt's interior, the cheap paint and general build quality...of course itll same price as this but look at lap times this can acheive, fuel economy, reliability and how well its built. not saying this z4 is worth the money but its def alot nicer than a 5.0 mustang.

I sold my 240i and got a PP1 '19 GT with magneride, even stock it would be faster and more engaging than this massively overpriced b58 roadster, and cost 30k less

Add in a supercharger and it's pushing 800 HP on pump gas with zero issues, I'll take some hard plastic on the cabin in exchange for that kind of performance deal.

BMW should be offering this with an S58 at that price point.

On the UK site you can replace the bronze-ish trim around the side mirrors and the grills with black. I don't see that here. Odd...

$3,500 for a color is absurd.

It will also gap the mess out of a 5.0.

I saw Frozen Grey metallic in person at the launch party at my local dealership. If I were in the market for a z4 ( I'm not the target demographic by any means) I'd take frozen grey metallic on cognac and jet black 799M

Feeling Short Change ... Kind of

Why is it that the color palette for the 3 series starts at 8 colors and we only get 6 colors for the M40i? Also, how come you can order a 30i Z4 in Imperial Blue and you can't order a M40i in that color? Am I wrong in thinking that with such a sexy and classy looking roadster that they would offer a few more interesting colors.

I checked this week with BMW Corporate Individual and with a very knowledge CA and because this car is brand new to the BMW line up they aren't considering any custom exterior colors. I was also told that if they ever do allow a custom color on the M40i version that a minimum charge of $7,000.00 would be the starting point.

WOW!!!!
