Front camera question
Curious what you guys think... is the front of the car at the front of the “shadow” or at the front of the grill? See picture attached.
https://pasteboard.co/Id4ugA4.jpg Also do you guys keep it on “auto parking mode” or let the cameras act freely? |

Right but my question is more... do I need to stop when the "shadow" is close to something or the front plate?
Also - is there a way to get it so that it's not the "parking view" but rather just the front view that comes up? Thanks. |

Go with front sensor visuals rather than shadow. The shadow extends well beyond front plate/bumper.

I was pulling into a space the other day and the PDC turned on as I got close to the curb as it usually does. It's the first time I've seen this, but when the camera angled down there was an orange bar on the screen which seemed to me to indicate the front of the car. Either I didn't notice it before or it was part of the .35 update. I stopped the car when the bar was at the curb and that's where the front of my car ended up.
