Turbo blanket

Anyone here install a turbo blanket to help reduce engine bay temperature?

If so, does it help?

Thanks.

That's not what turbo blankets are for. They are designed to increase performance from the cool side of the turbo by covering the hotter turbine housing. Using one may reduce the engine bay temperature, but not by much, as the turbo is only a minor component of what causes the engine bay to heat up.

Personally, I feel that this is not very helpful. If you are pursuing the ultimate, you can try it.

No need with the n20/n26. No heat/coolant/oil/ambient air temp, or intake temps to worry about with logs. The engine bay is pretty well open ventilated from the front to rear. No issues with stage 2 turbo as well.
