Supersprint J Pipe Sound Comparisons

Supersprint J Pipe install + sound comparison on our G82 M4 - Stock vs Resonated vs Non Resonated

The standard G82 M4 doesn't sound too bad all things considered (it might even be louder than our G80 was?) but with the restrictive OPF in the exhaust it didn't have much personality.

The rear exhaust design is good, so we wanted to change just the mid-pipe. Our friends Supersprint in Italy make a few options and sent us over their J Pipes. This links the two exhausts in to one to create a different sound, whilst also removing the restrictive secondary cats and more importantly OPF.

We test the resonated and non-resonated versions to see how they sound in comparison to our stock euro car.

You can hear how the non-res is causing the microphone to muffle just slightly. That means it's perfect.

Any specs on these?

The non resonated, if you leave all the rest of the exhaust stock sounds perfect!!Throaty and 0 rasp.
It would be great to listen to the Supersprint axle back paired with the J pipe!
Great video!

Thanks for sharing this! Love comparisons like this that really give you perspective.

I ordered my Supersprint resonated J-pipe a few weeks ago. Hoping to have it by end of May. Beyond excited to get this thing. I'll be pairing it up to my MPE.

Interesting! Always happy to see other options.

Would be very interested to hear this with catless downpipes.

The non-resonated sounds perfect! Any links to this J-pipe?

Did you get a ETA? Because my friend ordered a non-resonated H-pipe version with the axle back about a month ago and the supersprint dealer only said it will arrive in the second half of 2022 which is a bit concerning lol.

Yikes, that's insane!

Estimated completion time is 4-5 weeks, then the trip from Italy to the US, and possible hang ups at customs.

I cut out the middle man, and went straight to Supersprint for the order. Great people to work with.

Sorry. But where is the J pipe? I only see the midpipe in the video?
Am I missing something here?

Supersprint calls their single midpipe a "J pipe".

Ahh. Now it makes sense.
Italian called it differently than us.

My h pipe from them took about three months to get but that was literally when they first released. Shouldn’t be more than 8 weeks max from being made to delivered from Italy.

That should be it. Their site is a little tough to find exactly what you need. I found it easier to just email them directly and they sent me an invoice. They respond pretty fast even though they are in Italy.

Imran@Evolve What is the diameter of the single mid pipe section? Is it ovalized 4 inch? Also is the cut point the second dimple on each side?

Thanks!
Chris
