Need a replacement Transmission what can I use?

So, I have a 2004 330xi and my transmission recently went out but I do not have enough money to repair the transmission or buy a new car so I was wondering what car have a transmission that would work in my car but would be cheaper then buying a BMW one. It uses a GM 5L40E and a 3.08 ratio I tried looking but I couldn't find a car that has a transmission I could take out of it. Please help.
