Please recommend an extended warranty provider

Please recommend an extended warranty provider.

I am on the market for an extended warranty on my 2019 X7 with 38K miles. Need it covered beyond 50K miles.

Is an extended warranty with Veritas for 50K miles, 4-year, plan with a limit of 10K per visit and 20K across the entire duration, for $4200 USD is a good deal?

Another offer I have is directly through BMW, no limits on services, but covers power train ONLY, for 4 years and 40k miles from today, for $3500.

What was the cost please and term (length, mileage, and maximum coverage amount per visit and maximum claimed amount in total during the entire coverage duration).

I finally went and looked it up, after many warranty threads on here. My Tahoe had a warranty through CareGard. I'm sure there are different agreements between particular manufacturers/dealer networks and particular warranty companies. This was a Tahoe, serviced at a reputable Chevy dealer in town. Having said all that - the CareGard warranty paid every claim made and paid for itself over the two years or so that I had it. Replaced a thermostat and a screen/stereo. And still refunded me for time unused when I traded it to the BMW dealer in Huntsville. Take all that for what it's worth, but it's one man's experience with CareGard.

Call your local indie bmw shops and ask them who they recommend. Honest answers as they deal with them on a daily basis.

The only option I have other than those above is to go find a warranty by myself. I can not ask my dealer to get a CareGard warranty for me unless CareGard provide warranties directly to me as a client of them.

Have these repairs been on your G30?

What MY and mileage do you have? What has been repaired under the warranty, including the $5K range?

There isn’t a lot of details yet from people who are OOW on the G30 chiming in on repair costs to help people decide on if an extended warranty makes sense or not.

Yes, on my 2018 540. They replaced my steering rack and column. I currently have 78k miles. I have had a very good experience with CNA. They also replaced my suspension as they were leaking . One of my headlights as the halo was yellow.

Thanks for adding those data points.

You're top side on that warranty, glad you had it in the quiver.

This is super helpful. Will it cover electrical stuff like stereo, sunroof, screen, etc?

That mileage and cost will be right up my alley about a year from now. My one year of paid up CPO coverage starts in a couple months and I love this car.

Ran into this one on the Quadrifoglio forums. Worth giving it a look and it's backed by an RI Volvo dealership.
