It doesn't look bad but it looks more like a hatchback/gran coupe than a sedan.

Well I was 99% sure I wouldn't go for a g60 due to the interior dash and steering wheel, if this indeed the real thing , that's confirmed it for me
It doesn't even look like a saloon/sedan.

Now I know the 5 is traditionally a conservative design but this is just , what's the word I'm looking for, dull?

Oh bmw , what have you done?

Yuck, I'm no fan of that styling. If that's the new 5 then I might have to finally cave and get an SUV. An X5 looks way better than that slant back thing.

Looks like a Tesla model 3. Not my cup of tea. I hope this is not the direction of things to come for the 5 series.

For what it’s worth, the 6 gt oddly has a special place in my heart. Giant trunk, slightly more comfortable rear seats than the g30, and can be eye catching in a good way at the right angles. The 8 gc shares a lot of its visual cues and has its proportions corrected. Audi got the fastback body style right. If bmw were ever able to, I’d probably have one.

The G60 has very unique/new headlights. Check them out in the G60 forum.
A whole new set of "less camo" pictures were posted a few weeks back.

Yeah, especially since the new redesign isn't a huge departure from the G30. Our cars won't instantly look older. At least they didn't go with the big grill.
