It's interesting that even the s30i gets the M badge on the side though it doesn't have the M brakes and differential package. I'd gladly make an even trade of my ugly side markers for the M badge.

Huh, just noticed that. The euro models don’t have the side markers.

Also looks like they have Continental tires rather than Michelins. Is that different for this year, or the euro model always got those?

I have a 2022, and has Michelins, and thought that most BMWs came with them out the gate (not experienced with that, was just an uneducated assumption).

Euro models dont have side markers and 30i in Europe has Michelins. M brakes and everything else available for the M40, is available for the 30i.

The M badge on the side is linked to the front and rear bumper styling not the engine or brakes.
