Just unscrew the stock tips and bolt on the new ones....they are made perfectly to fit the oval exhaust pipes coming out of the stock mufflers....they come in multiple colors and finishes.....just Google them..be sure to specify model and year...

Different muffler on the M440i, the OEM Z4 tips are welded on.

I found a clearer pic of the G29 back box. I think the easiest solution to get any of those aftermarket quad tips to work would be to cut off the stock outlet pipes at the muffler - then weld new ones on which allow use of the tips. Valve also eeds to be welded into the new set up.

Bottom pic is a 5 series exhaust in which the owner did the same thing as described.

i think there is a lot less room, and the tips will sick out a lot from the bumper. I've seen one like that on facebook once, but i can not find it again, otherwise i would have posted it here

Exactly. Regardless, some shop fabrication is going to be required for a flusher fit.

Something like this design might be a good place to begin:

Really interested in it but can't find anything about how it connects to the downpipe, given this has only one port and not two as the OEM setup. I also had an AFE on my Porsche 981S for a year before the welds broke open, so not sure about the quality on this one. Anyone installed it?
