Interesting they did an intake/tune/DP for the HP gains, didn’t touch engine internals from what I’ve read.

Too bad BMW won’t bring over a final edition type Z4 with those goodies from factory

And since the Supra Final Edition is only available in Europe and Japan and limited to 300 cars, we'll never see that version of the B58 here.

This final edition is really no different than something the end user can easily accomplish for most likely a huge cost savings.

The hood vent and wing literally look like they’re straight from the Verus catalog? And the increased power is achievable from off the shelf tunes.

Yawn, such a shame gazoo didn’t do anything more bespoke- most likely limited by BMW.

The key is factory support/warranty coverage/limited.
For those who want to limit depreciation this is a nice send off and will be desirable. As we know big difference in perception confidence when it’s a factory modded car then someone modding at home with tuner parts.

You are totally right that if someone wants to do this to their Supra/Z4 all the parts and tuning have been around the entire generation.

Very fair about the warranty, but manufactures have historically been problematic when it comes to honoring warranty on cars that are tracked- especially Toyota with the oil starvation issues in the GR86. Gazoo racing has done a lot of fantastic bespoke adjustments to the Supra and essentially gate kept gt4 catalog to GT4 owners. There’s so many things you can take from there that can have real world applications other than just sitting on a large wing and a hood vent.

Give me wider fenders, their tuned GR GT4 KW coil overs and brakes over the boy racer stuff
