3" DP can fit RHD?
hello to all the guys in UK !
I heard from my mechanic that 3 inch pipes regardless of where the o2 sensors are mounted, CANNOT be fitted on a RHD car. How true is it ? Cheers Mark |

it's not true at all. You just have to be careful with how you place the O2 sensors. If he's a good mechanic, he'll have no problems. If he complains, change your mechanic because he's obviously not good enough! There are LOTS of RHD cars with 3" downpipes, mine being one of them. Yes, they're not as easy to fit as those for LHD fitment, but still perfectly doable.

To confirm what Tony has said yes they do fit. We have fitted them to 4 x35i's this week. There is not much room up there. You need a mechanic with slender hands to get the job done in a reasonable time

hi !
thanks for the replies. he told me that its not confirmed that it'll fit. and if modifications are needed, extra labour charges would apply. what should i look out for ? and also, what might be the potential problems ? thanks, mark |
