Springs on stock struts dangerous?

I know there are a ton of posts about how the car will feel wobblier and such, but I need a definitive answer before I pull the trigger on some springs.

I have an E92 328i and am actually concerned about high speed stability. How much do springs only affect handling for both straight line highway (hills & slopes) and cornering? Would they compromise the ability to "safely" do 120-130mph?

Not dangerous but they will wear out sooner. You will gradually feel the slop within 10xxx miles

I have a e90 w/ sport package. Does the sport set up deal with this issue?

I have Eibach lowering springs on stock shocks and they feel great, both straight line high speed and cornering.

I have a few pictures posted in my 'garage' on the forum if you want to see the stance.

struts need to be valved for the spring rates you are running...this is why it is not a good idea to use lowering springs on stock struts. Also, since the springs sit the car lower, you WILL bottom out the strut rod in the strut body over larger bumps. This will blow out your seals and destroy your struts. I've had it happen on previous cars and even blown out Koni yellows with ground control coilovers before in less than a year due to not revalving them for the stiffer springs. Just a lose lose situation man.

Yea I would save up for a spring/shock combo or coil setup.....it's ok if you're planning on upgrading within the next couple months but anything beyond that is risky.

It sucks not having a suspension. My family's old range rover air ride suspension pump went out and it was NOT fun to ride in. lol
