E90 Alarm Coding Help Please!

My buddy and I tried to do some coding today and everything went fine except for activating the alarm on my 08 E90 M3. And before you ask, yes, I do have the alarm installed.

All functionality except for interior motion sensor and tilt sensor work. Chirp, key fob panic button, clown nose, and hood sensor all work as they are supposed to but the motion and tilt sensors will not activate the alarm.

We tried coding $302 and then +K302 to the CAS and NFRM modules and then loading empty .man files for CAS, DWAI, DWAS, and KOMBI. The appropriate variables were automatically added into the CAS, DWAI, and DWAS modules after entering $302/+K302 into VO, and everything was changed to match the list found here:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=504338

We also made sure FUNK_INNENRAUMSCHUTZ was set to aktiv.

We spent about 3 hours working on this today and ended up draining the battery on my car while we figured it out and I ended up just calling it quits. Can anyone help me out please? Any constructive input would be very much appreciated!

Instead of empty .man files try coding each module in NCSExpert mode

Tried and no luck

If someone could walk me through, step by step, as to what needs to be done, it would be greatly appreciated since I feel like there is some small step that we are missing that is causing all this.

All the regular coding worked fine, its just this stupid retrofit coding I can't get to work.

Same Problem

I Have A 2009 335i And Had The Dealer Install My Alarm - As Of Right Now Its Been There For Almost 3 Weeks. Puma Case Open And All

I Guess The Alarms That They Had And All The Local Dealers Have Are The Wrong Part # And They Got The Wrong Alarm Sent To Them About 4 Times And They Had To Call Germany Direct And Get Some Superceeded Part # For The Alarm And It Coded Right Away. I Don't Know If You Have The Same Problem, But It's Something To Look Into.

Code each module in the car individually with expertmode. Let the car sit for long enough for the motion sensor to activate before testing. Make sure you do not hit the lock button twice when locking as the second push will deactivate the motion sensor.

Any idea how long that is? I always tried to test it immediately after activating the alarm thinking it was instant on.

I have read that it takes between 30 seconds and 2/3 minutes to activate. But trust me on coding each module. Does the car have nav? I am assuming no because you only coded KOMBI and not CAPPL. Do the alarm specific features in BC menu show up?

Make sure "FUNK_INNENRAUMSCHUTZ" is active in DWAI.

It is a iDrive equipped car. I did code CAPPL but forgot to mention it; each module was coded individually as per the link in my original post. I did also ensure that "FUNK_INNENRAUMSCHUTZ" was set as "aktiv". Hopefully I don't need a different part number given that I bought this from Tischer about 3 months ago...

Are you sure tilt isn't working? How much tilt are you applying? I have to jack mine up quite a bit with the floor jack to activate it. Just bouncing the bumper by hand won't do it.

As for motion sensor, mine had the closed-vent dome light cover and I needed to order one with open vent holes to get that to work.

Pretty sure chances are I'm just a moron...was able to get the ultrasonic sensor to activate once after I waited 30 sec after arming and I just installed a shock sensor and that triggers the alarm fine.
