Sonax Nano Paint Protect products

Hi,

I'm looking at doing a full detail this summer, and I'm wondering what to do...

So far, my plans are:

Wash with Shampoo, then Dawn to remove wax/contamination
Clay - Swissvax Paint rubber + Swissvax Quick finish
Polish - Sonax Premium Class Saphir paint polish
Wash with Dawn (in case the polish contains wax)
IPA wipedown

Then, Sonax Paint Prepare panel by panel and final inspection of each panel
Then, panel by panel, I would like to apply these "new gen" coatings from Sonax

I'm looking at:
Nano paint protect: http://professional.sonax.com/Profes...-Paint-protect

http://professional.sonax.com/Profes...rotect-NanoPro

Now I cannot tell the difference between the above 2 products? I like these profi-line products better than the consumer Premium class, since they come in a spray can, which should allow you to do a panel at a time with infinite breaks in between? The Premium class comes with the product attached to an applicator, which I assume will dry after 1 hour = the product cannot be applied any more.

I'd apply 1 coat of Nano paint protect.

On top of that, I would like to apply:
http://professional.sonax.com/Profes...mer-Net-Shield
On the website, it says that this is a perfect compliment to the Nano Paint Protect, so, I'm thinking this is a no brainer

I'd apply 2 coats of PNS.

Then. I'd top off with Sonax Brilliant Shine QD.

So, my questions:
1) Which Nano paint protect do I need?

2) Is the polymer net shield a good option? Or is the Xtreme Shine and Protect a better option (consumer range)?

3) In the consumer videos, it says Nano Paint Protect must not get on rubber... because of this, there are some areas of the car I would like to avoid, most notably: area around door handles and the edges of the roof.
-What happens if nano paint protect gets on rubber? Is it necessary to avoid rubber like I mentioned?

4) Do I need a wax? I was thinking of applying Sonax Premium Class Carnauba wax (= P21S 100% wax) before the quick detailer... maybe 2 coats of it...

5) Sonax advertises their wax lasts 6 months, polymer net shield lasts 6 months and nano paint protect lasts 12 months... if I layer all of these, will my car be protected for like 2 years???

Anyhoo, any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

the sonax polymer netshield will yield up to 6 months, if you do 2 layers it will not give you 12 months.

the products you chose are all good products.

let us know how you do with them.

the Brilliant Shine Detailer would be great to use after each wash.

I would not use dawn as your stripping agent. In my opinion it is too harsh and dries the paint/clearcoat. Chemical Guys Citrus Wash is a great product. It can be used 2 ways: in a concentrated dilution to strip wax and prep the car for detailing, claying, polishing, etc. and in a lighter dilution for normal washing.
