super quick question about front camber adjustment
So I've read a couple posts now highlighting removing some camber pins or bolts in the front to increase the front negative camber. Are these posts referring to the two locating pins, one per side, on the top of the strut assembly that locks the shock from rotating? I Think I just need to remove them and slide the top of the strut inward in the slotted strut tower holes.
If I am correct, how are the pins removed? I don't see a little allen head or anything. Just hammer out? Just installed H&R last night and have an alignment appointment for Monday afternoon. thanks, Justin |

It's this one. http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1309031252
You cannot rotate the top once it is out but push it in, towards the engine, a few mm to get a bit more camber. Your alignment shop should be able to take it out for you. Usually it is stuck in there and you need a vise grip or even drill to get it out. See image attached from when I did mine. |
