best prices for OEM parts?
Looking to buy new brakes front and back as well at rotors. Can anyone recommend any sites with the best prices?
I've looked at oembimmerparts.com already..wondering if there are better sites? Thanks |

fcpeuro.com there are other BMW dealers out there with online stores, but Tischer is a sponsor here, and is usually competitive, always worth a look. |

I've used Tischer/getBMWParts for just about all my OEM part purchases - very reliable & excellent service. Their prices are about as low as it gets.

You guys are nuts. Those prices are TERRIBLE on some things. For instance: Spark plug socket for $50, you can get them for like $15. Touch up paint stick is higher there than at a BMW dealer. Ebay it for most things unless you like to get bent over.

What I like doing is finding the Worldco part number for BMW OEM manufacturers on places like Rockauto and Partsgeek. Then take that part number and search it on Amazon.
There is a lot of parts that Amazon has that they do not have linked to fitting on anything and contains very little information, so it is kinda impossible for you to do anything to find it other than a part number search. However, they are not using the BMW or manufacturer part number. They are using the part number worldco distribution marks them as when they import it to the US. Check out what I just bought off Amazon for $63 with Prime shipping http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Scroll down to product information where it has the part number I found it by doing that p/n search. I found the part number by looking for M3 parts on partsgeek, which tells me what that part actually is, becuase Amazon is of little help there http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...ntrol_arm.html Sometimes it's an amazing deal (account for tax and shipping), sometimes not that great. But it is another option worth checking out. Last edited by Casca; 11-18-2013 at 04:07 PM.. |

19$ for a spark plug socket. I know their supply is limited to select parts, but the prices are very reasonable and the shipping is fast and reliable. They have tons of DYI guides for everything they sell too. |

great suggestions guys. I'm. Tischer customer, not a fanboy, They are very competitive on Genuine BMW performance related parts, less so on some everyday maintenance items.
That Amazon / part number strategy is interesting... |

Rockauto is also a good place to checkout. They do have a few items from the OEM manufacturers . I bought my flywheel and clutch kit there for $330 for the flywheel and $160 for the clutch kit. These are LUK parts and as far as I know, they are a direct OEM replacement. Extremely good deal and the parts look perfect condition. Haven't installed yet though. |
