Wow I didn't know americans or texans to be so anti against cars with less cylinders. I had the previous MK7 ST 4-cylinder for 4 years and driven the new ST 3-cylinders for a month. You can't tell a difference other that the 3-cylinders ST sounds way better than the old did.

The 135i I purchased was the first car I bought that has less then 8 cyl, the twin turbos and their ability to perform like a V8 engine was the only reason I was able to get something with less the 8 slugs. I for one am more interested in a cars HP/TQ, 0-60, 1/4m, handling and weight to power ratio then the exhaust note. I like vehicles with more bite then bark but do enjoy both. Congrats on your new ride, it does look like a nice little pocket rocket. |
