Unicorn Sightings!
It seems that our community is a bit too small to have active regional subforums.
But gosh, I feel like I've seen more than a few Z4s lately, and all M40i's. Maybe I just haven't paid attention before? New sighting: Saw a black Z4 traveling south in the right lane on route 9 in Roswell, GA just rolling up to the intersection at Woodstock Road (near Lucky's) around 6 PM. Top was down, and I think it had cognac seats and Cerium gray wheels. I had my top up and was in the rightmost opposite lane headed north. |

At least you seen them. It's been a year since I last saw another Z4 on the road and have yet to see another M40.

Today around 12:30 PM, I drove up to the dealership to get locking lugs for the Z4.
On the way up, in Roswell at the intersection of Alpharetta Street & Crossville Highway/GA-92, I saw a BSM Z4 with non-black trim, a cognac interior, and possibly orbit grey wheels with the top down traveling south and looking like it was turning west onto Crossville Highway. I was headed north through the same intersection. I don’t think this car is the same as the BSM Z4 I saw the other day. I think that’s nine G29 Z4 in-the-wild sightings total for me so far going back almost 2 years to summer of 2020. Last edited by ebirotedu; 04-12-2022 at 01:46 PM.. |

Saw two other G29 in the same day. One very similar to mine, but way too far away to see it in detail (engine type). Saw another one (with owner next to it) in a market parking lot. Said hi and gawked at her ride. :P She had the M40i.

This afternoon I saw a Z4 Coupe in blue-gray (not sure of the actual color name). Don't see many Z4s around here, not to mention a coupe.

Ouch. Sorry about the damage to your Z4. It seems like a ‘when’ rather than an ‘if’ type of thing.
Since I got mine, I try my best to park in the most vacant or remote part of every parking area or lot, and even so people people will park right next to me. Someone with a big work truck absolutely crushed the front fender on my WRX STI in a parking lot many years ago - at least I think that’s the vehicle that did the damage since whomever it was didn’t stick around or fess up. And what you’re saying about State Farm isn’t good! I’m going to have to ask my agent about that. Quote:
